Nikon FM3A With 50mm 1.4 Nikkor Lens
DESCRIPTION:
Body serial no. 287678
lens serial no. 4023519
The Nikon FM3A is a fully mechanical camera. This means it does not require batteries to operate the shutter. The 2x LR44 batteries are only used to power the camera’s light meter and for aperture-priority mode.
It uses Nikon F-mount lenses.
The Nikon FM3A was Nikon's last great mechanical film camera. Almost 20 years after the release of the FM2, they released this monster of a camera, at a time when they had already released several digital cameras.
The FM3A is an exceptional camera: it's fully mechanical, has an impressive maximum shutter speed of up to 1/4000s, incredibly accurate metering and aperture-priority mode, and a flash sync speed of 1/250s. It was built to last and built for the most demanding of film photographers. We think this camera is one of Nikon's best.
This FM3A comes with the Nikkor 45mm f2.8P, a lens designed for and released at the same time as the camera. They make for a gorgeous duo.
